Our Mission
The mission of BHMHS is to assist individuals and families achieve wellness by providing easily accessible mental health treatment that focuses on setting individual goals, identifying effective interventions and providing the support that would lead to self-sufficiency and a healthy quality of life.

Beautiful Hearts and Minds Health Services believes that all consumers can recover. We believe in highlighting a person’s strengths and using those strengths to help them accomplish their individualized goals.
Our Vision
The vision of Beautiful Hearts and Minds is to eliminate the negative stigma associated with mental health through education, professional support and accessibility. Beautiful Hearts and Minds believes that through early intervention and knowledge, consumers and their families can recover and improve their lives tremendously. Beautiful Hearts and Minds aims to provide client-centered comprehensive mental health care to individuals and families by highlighting strengths and reducing barriers through goal setting, providing professional support and educating its consumers to manage their illness in order to become healthy citizens of their community. BHMHS hopes to be able to provide services in Baltimore City and across Maryland.
What We Do
BHMHS provides psychiatric rehabilitation services that are geared towards helping consumers with severe mental health illnesses increase independence and self-sufficiency while decreasing the number of psychiatric hospitalizations. These services will be provided both onsite at our office location, in the community or in their homes. These services can either be in one-on-one or in group settings.
Our Programs
BHMHS provides support to parents by partnering with several local nonprofits, after school programs, camps, recreation centers, and mentoring programs that focus on at-risk youth and adults. We provide Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs (PRP) that are designed to redirect and inspire our clients to devote their time and energy toward meaningful activities such as community service, conflict resolution, anti-bullying and positive social skills.
Psychiatric Rehab Program (PRP)
The (PRP) serves both minors and adults and focuses on supporting individuals with their personal goals
Supportive Employment Program (SEP)
Serving youth that experience behavioral issues related to family, environment or socio-economic factors
Driving Under Influence (DUI)
DUI provides Driving under the influence classes approved by the state of Maryland.

I told them I really needed help and they told me to come in right away. When I first met them, I was always in trouble by doing stuff I didn’t have any business doing. But they really helped me out. Since I got into the program, I got a therapist, they helped me get back on my medication, they helped me get a job by buying me clothing and getting my haircut. They are just all around good people.
